Get Involved
We are looking for passionate, empathetic, and attentive females who are willing to dedicate time to mentor and form friendships with the girls in Afghanistan. Volunteers will be matched to a student based on questionnaire responses. The pair will be expected to meet once a week for an hour on Zoom. During the session, the volunteer is expected to follow a general lesson plan that is provided by the platform, but the material can be adjusted according to the student’s exact needs. At the end of the lesson, the volunteer will complete a general feedback form evaluating the student’s performance and grasp of the course content.
Additional Responsibilities:
If interested, volunteers can also provide feedback on the program, help develop lesson plans or expand to other math-related topics (such as algebra II, trigonometry, etc.), and start new chapters at their own schools.
